This research project began with a simple question: how can we organise culturally important historical visual artefacts digitally, in a way which is both accessible and scholarly?
The project is one built on binaries: word/image, past/present, analogue/digital, theory/practice and, finally, ‘Website’/ ‘Blog’
The academic ‘argument’ and ‘critique’ is inherent in the very structure.
